Rinse the ROYAL COCKTAIL first, before using it for the first time.
Wet the floater by plunging it into the water.
To achieve a guaranteed success with your ROYAL COCKTAIL you have to take account with the specific gravity of the beverages you want to use. In case you are not aware of the specific gravity of the beverages, do the following test:
Pour the beverage into a glass and place the ROYAL COCKTAIL. Next, pour the second beverage into the apparatus. If the second beverage floats on the first layer, this is the right order. If the second beverage mixes with the first one, use the beverage mixer the other way around. This also concerns the third, fourth layer etc. You can make as many layers as you prefer, as long as there is a difference in weight of the beverage to be used.
By adding syrup (sugar) to the beverage, you will make it heavier. To make the beverage lighter, add alcohol.
Do not use juices containing pulp as they can plug the small opening of the ROYAL COCKTAIL
